  2-step Costumes Max   For my piece I will be focusing on costumes, costumes are a key aspect of a music video as it moulds the way the audience perceives the characters within. There are so many options to choose from to successfully follow the codes and conventions of our Genre and this choice would have been tricky and carefully considered. My first character is myself. I am a french man in my piece who falls in love with an English girl. My outfit needs to tell the audience exactly that. I chose to wear a matching Ralph Lauren Half Zip. Ralph Lauren is an American brand, although is highly respected in countries such as France. There is a common stereotype that french people spend a lot of money on clothing, therefore, wearing a Ralph Lauren Half Zip follows that stereotype. I wore black Jeans to show that I am putting in effort for this special girl I met in London, this is key for the piece in my opinion, the character in my piece needs to look presentable.
